Using Moonpool

Moonpool is a place for commercial divers and diving companies to find work, share rates, talk and buy and sell kit. By joining you agree to these terms and to the community rules. You must be 18 or over.

Your account

• Keep your login to yourself. You're responsible for what's posted from your account.
• Give your real name and don't pretend to be someone else or another company.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

What you post

• You keep ownership of what you post. You let Moonpool show it to other members, and share links to it, while it's on the site.
• Only post things you have the right to post, that are honest, and that follow the community rules.
• We can edit or remove anything, and suspend or block accounts, to keep Moonpool safe and useful.

Jobs

• Moonpool isn't an employer or an agency and isn't part of any job you take. Agreements are between you and the company.
• Some jobs are added by the Moonpool team or imported from our WhatsApp group. Always confirm details (rate, dates, location, qualifications) with the contact before you travel or commit.
• Companies must only post real vacancies and must follow employment, health and safety, and diving regulations.

Rates

Rate ranges are worked out from anonymous reports by members. They're a guide, not advice or a guarantee of what any job pays.

Buy & Sell

• Sales are between the buyer and the seller. Moonpool doesn't take payments, hold money, inspect items or guarantee anything sold.
• Describe items honestly, only sell what's yours, and meet or pay safely.
• Life-support equipment (helmets, umbilicals, regulators, bailouts and similar) must be inspected, serviced and certified by a competent person before use. Buying and using it is at your own risk.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Moonpool accurate and running, but it's provided “as is”. We aren't responsible for jobs, sales or arrangements between members, or for content posted by members. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the change is significant we'll tell members on the site.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
